Wilbee looks at his stopwatch after the elevator doors open, "Wow, I clocked that elevator at 150 feet per second! Now, that's one heck of a ride."
Izzy, while crawling out of the elevator, thinks in reply, "That's what you think, Wilbee!"
Real Deal: The elevator speed of 150 feet per second was written in the spec. At that speed, you would travel about 10 floors per second.
